34ft Launch TOU-SHAE, Comments from the owner...

"We are very happy with Coppercoat already, we definitely have greater speed along with the boat getting on the plane much faster. We have also noticed we are getting much better fuel economy than with traditional antifoul, all this being just a bonus to the reason why we purchased Coppercoat."

Peter Clark, Auckland.

Below: Hull after 11 months in the water, out for its two year engine service. Owners comments, “Extremely happy on how clean the hull was after almost a year, it is a joy not having to be under your boat scraping old antifouling off again! Simple pressure wash and that was it.

Aluminium Launch, five years with Coppercoat, cruises Pacific.

Owners verdict: "Brilliant product that suits our purposes. Every four years we will haul out for a marine survey, water blast then straight back in. Each year I will send the boys over the side to give her a scrub which will remove any small growth that has accumulated". R Smith, Taranaki

Hookers

Vindex Motor Boat "Hooker"

"Hookers' hull was cleaned down by sand blasting over 9 years ago, removing many layers of dead conventional antifoul. This was then rollered with 2 coats of coppercoat [no undercoat required ] an initial saving of $300-00 odd plus labour. Other than an annual water blast, this hull has only had trailer scrapes to the keel touched up and a recoat of the stainless steel rudder. The cost bi- annually for labour, u/coats and other antifoul would be triple the initial cost plus an inconvenience factor. I have no doubt in my mind of the many other benefits I have enjoyed through using this product even though the initial outlay at the time was a bit daunting. Would I use the product in the future ? Only a fool wouldn't!!"

A few barnacles had adhered to the silt and mud on the hull, Note the propeller was heavily fouled with barnacles after one year.

Beautiful smooth clean hull after a simple pressure wash, Wemoon was ready for immediate return back into the water.

The Gulf Harbour haul out staff commented “ Wemoons hull was in brilliant condition compared to all other boats coming out of the Weiti/ Wade river.”

Samantha 2 Wemoon now moored Gulf Harbour, haul out after burnish eight months ago, Oct 2009. Total 21 months in the water.
